COMPETENT CLIMBER AND RESCUE CERTIFICATION
The Tower Safety Competent Climber and Rescue course teaches at-height workers the proper climbing techniques and use of fall protection equipment. The course will also teach the climber-rescuer how to identify the adequate rescue to perform and proper use of the rescue gear.
The climber-rescuer will be challenged to plan, prepare, and execute several critical rescues to include self-rescues, assisted rescues, team rescues, and suspended rescues, while using various types of rescue equipment and techniques.
In a real rescue situation, the climber-rescuer will need to make important decisions and have a clear understanding of choosing the proper rescue by analyzing the situation and considering some key factors, some of which may be the victim's condition, environment, height of victim, positioning of the victim, rescue equipment, available rescue-trained co-workers on site, etc.
Throughout the course the climber-rescuer will be gain knowledge on risk assessments, various types of rescue equipment, proper set up and tower rigging of the rescue gear, how to implement mechanical advantages to the rescue procedures, and proper emergency care.

Course Includes: Student materials, snacks, and refreshments. Digital Climbing & Rescue Certs issued after successful completion of course and processing. Hard Climbing & Rescue Certs are mailed 3-5 business days.
